Vino Vino Restaurant and Bar is parallel to the white sands of Oneroa Beach.
Operating from this premium site continuously since December 1993.
Vino Vino is today the most sought after dining location on Waiheke.
Being located on the main street of Oneroa the Restaurant has full frontal,
north-facing and uninterrupted views of the Ocean out towards the
Coromandel Peninsula and Great Barrier Island.

Waiheke Island is the second-largest in the Hauraki Gulf after Great Barrier Is.
It is populated with nearly 8,000 permanent residents plus another estimated 3,500 who have second or holiday homes on the island.
Waiheke is 19.3 km long from west to east, varies in width from 0.64 to 9.65km, and has a surface area of 92km2. The coastline is 133.5 km, including 40 km of beaches. The port of Matiatia at the western end of the island is 17.7 km from Auckland and the eastern end is 21.4 km from the Coromandel. The climate is slightly warmer than Auckland with less humidity and rain and more sunshine hours.
Waiheke Island has become known as New Zealand's "Island of Wine," and to all the locals as “Paradise Island,” home to a dedicated group of winegrowers who have successfully matched the maritime climate and ancient soil structures to the selection of classical grape varieties to produce red and white wines with distinctive varietal character.

Waiheke's climate is well suited to growing Bordeaux wine-type grapes, though white wine varieties are also considered to be very good.
Waiheke winegrowers regularly win awards for white and red wine, most awarded wine is Syrah, proving the island suits it well.
